1948 Maroon MKVI Bentley Saloon 4 door right hand drive with extensive upgrades. Indicated mileage 54,xxx miles on odometer. Upgrades include an installation of a modern drivetrain from a 1999 Grand Cherokee Jeep 4.0 engine/automatic transmission with the associated ECU. Front and rear disc brakes have been added along with modern rear axle. Front and rear air conditioning was added with period burl wood. Stock front suspension. Electric windows have been installed along with updated shift & steering column. Automatic transmission gear selection is indicated with fully integrated display in the dash. Windshield wiper and washer control is integrated into the control stock. It also has a sunroof. There are a few dings as pictured. The boot and passenger door latches need adjustment, and the passenger side electric window switch is intermittent. Rear muffler hanger and one of the bolts holding the lower control arm on the front right is stripped out. I have installed all new tires. This restoration portrays great attention to detail with drop-down veneer covered picnic trays behind the front seats. The upgraded steering wheel column comes with the original Bentley center piece including working horn button. Original engine is available at no cost. One of only 5000 MK VI Bentleys ever produced.
